Eligibility
Criteria

To join the Caawiye Program, your business needs to meet a few basic requirements. These are in place to ensure the program supports small businesses that are active and ready to benefit from an online presence. Here’s what we’re looking for:

  1. Your Business Must Have a Facebook Page

    • Since Facebook is a popular platform in Somalia, we ask that your business already has a Facebook page where you share updates, products, or services. This shows that you’re actively trying to grow your business and engage with customers.
  2. You Must Have at Least 2,000 Followers on Facebook

    • This ensures your business has an established audience. If you have 2,000 followers or more, it shows that people are interested in what you’re doing and that your business is already reaching some level of success.
  3. You Post Regularly About Your Business (At Least 10 Posts Per Month)

    • Consistency is key to building trust online. We require businesses to post at least 10 updates each month about their work, products, or services. These posts can be pictures, videos, or text—anything that keeps your audience informed and engaged.
  4. Your Business Should Be Active and Sustainable

    • We want to help businesses that are already operating and have a clear plan to grow. This means your business should be running and have a good idea that can continue to work for the long term. If your business is not active, it may not be the right time to join the program.
  5. You Must Be Willing to Share Your Story

    • Once your website is ready, we’ll ask you to share your experience with the program. This can be a short story or a testimonial about how the website and support helped your business. Your story will inspire other small business owners to join and show the program’s impact.

  • Have a Facebook account with 2,000+ followers.
  • Post at least 10 business-related posts per month on social media.
  • Be in need of a website to help grow their business.
  • Only cover the domain cost; Vividscope provides free hosting and development.

Through the Caawiye Program, Vividscope offers the following services at no cost to eligible small businesses:
